वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-40, verse-43

एतावदेव युष्माभिर्वीरा वानरपुंगवाः ।
शक्यं विचेतुं गन्तुं वा नातो गतिमतां गतिः ॥४३॥
43. etāvadeva yuṣmābhirvīrā vānarapuṃgavāḥ ,
śakyaṃ vicetuṃ gantuṃ vā nāto gatimatāṃ gatiḥ.
43. etāvat eva yuṣmābhiḥ vīrāḥ vānara-puṅgavāḥ |
śakyam vicetum gantum vā na ataḥ gatimatām gatiḥ
43. O brave leaders of monkeys (vānara), this is the extent to which you are able to search or to go. Beyond this, there is no path for those who can travel.
