स हि देशस्तु वध्यस्य रावणस्य दुरात्मनः ।
राक्षसाधिपतेर्वासः सहस्राक्षसमद्युतेः ॥२५॥

25. sa hi deśastu vadhyasya rāvaṇasya durātmanaḥ ,
rākṣasādhipatervāsaḥ sahasrākṣasamadyuteḥ.

25. That very region is the abode of the wicked (durātman) Rāvaṇa, who is destined for death, the lord of the rākṣasas, whose radiance is comparable to that of Indra (sahasrākṣa).
