वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-4, chapter-12, verse-36

ततो गिरितटे जातामुत्पाट्य कुसुमायुताम् ।
लक्ष्मणो गजपुष्पीं तां तस्य कण्ठे व्यसर्जयत् ॥३६॥
36. tato giritaṭe jātāmutpāṭya kusumāyutām ,
lakṣmaṇo gajapuṣpīṃ tāṃ tasya kaṇṭhe vyasarjayat.
36. tataḥ giritate jātām utpāṭya kusuma-āyutām
lakṣmaṇaḥ gajapuṣpīm tām tasya kaṇṭhe vyasarjayat
36. tataḥ lakṣmaṇaḥ giritate jātām kusuma-āyutām
tām gajapuṣpīm utpāṭya tasya kaṇṭhe vyasarjayat
36. Then, Lakṣmaṇa uprooted that Gajapuṣpī creeper, which had grown on the mountain slope and was adorned with flowers, and placed it around Sugrīva's neck.
