नाद्य भोक्ष्ये न च स्वप्स्ये न पास्ये ऽहं कदा चन ।
एष मे जीवितस्यान्तो रामो यद्यभिषिच्यते ॥८॥

8. nādya bhokṣye na ca svapsye na pāsye'haṃ kadā cana ,
eṣa me jīvitasyānto rāmo yadyabhiṣicyate.

8. (Kaikeyi declared:) "I will not eat today, nor will I sleep, nor will I ever drink. This is the end of my life if Rāma is consecrated."
