वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-11, verse-24

अग्निं हुत्वा प्रदायार्घ्यमतिथिं प्रतिपूज्य च ।
वानप्रस्थेन धर्मेण स तेषां भोजनं ददौ ॥२४॥
24. agniṃ hutvā pradāyārghyamatithiṃ pratipūjya ca ,
vānaprasthena dharmeṇa sa teṣāṃ bhojanaṃ dadau.

24. Having offered into the fire, having presented the ritual offering (arghya), and having honored the guest, he, in accordance with the forest-dweller's way of life (dharma), gave them food.
