तस्मिंस्तस्मिन् समासक्तिं संप्राप्य स विनश्यति ॥२३॥

23. yasmin yasmiṃśca kurute bhūte rāgaṃ mahīpate .
tasmiṃstasmin samāsaktiṃ saṃprāpya sa vinaśyati.

O king, in whatever being a person develops attachment, by attaining intense attachment to that very (being), he perishes.
