मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-101, verse-5

अदितिर्जनयामास दैवांस्त्रिभुवनेश्वरान् ।
दैत्यान्दितिर्दनुश्चोग्रान्दानवानुरुविक्रमान् ॥५॥

daityān ditiḥ danuḥ ca ugrān dānavān uru-vikramān
5. Aditi gave birth to the Devas, who are the masters of the three worlds. Diti gave birth to the fierce Daityas, and Danu gave birth to the mighty-valiant Dānavas.
