मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-101, verse-19

जगतामुपकाराय तथापस्तव गोपते ।
आददानस्य यद्रूपं तीव्रं तस्मै नमाम्यहम् ॥१९॥
19. jagatāmupakārāya tathāpastava gopate .
ādadānasya yadrūpaṃ tīvraṃ tasmai namāmyaham.
19. jagatām upakārāya tathā apaḥ tava gopate
ādadānasya yat rūpam tīvram tasmai namāmi aham
19. O protector of rays (gopate), I bow to that intense form of yours which takes up the waters for the benefit of the worlds.
