मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-101, verse-12

देवान्यज्ञभुजश्चक्रे तथा त्रिभुवनेश्वरान् ।
ब्रह्मा ब्रह्मविदां श्रेष्ठः परमेष्ठी प्रजापतिः ॥१२॥
12. devānyajñabhujaścakre tathā tribhuvaneśvarān .

12. Brahma, the pre-eminent (śreṣṭha) among those who know the Supreme Reality (Brahman), the Supreme Being (Parameṣṭhī), and the Lord of Creatures (Prajāpati), created the gods, the partakers of Vedic rituals (yajña), as well as the lords of the three worlds.
