महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-7, verse-24

स केकयानां प्रवरांश्च पञ्च पाञ्चालराजं च शरैः प्रमृद्य ।
युधिष्ठिरानीकमदीनयोधी द्रोणोऽभ्ययात्कार्मुकबाणपाणिः ॥२४॥
24. sa kekayānāṁ pravarāṁśca pañca; pāñcālarājaṁ ca śaraiḥ pramṛdya ,
yudhiṣṭhirānīkamadīnayodhī; droṇo'bhyayātkārmukabāṇapāṇiḥ.

24. Having crushed the five chief Kekayas and the Panchala king with his arrows, Drona, a fighter of unyielding spirit, advanced against Yudhisthira's army, bow and arrows in hand.
