महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-7, verse-21

तान्वै सरथहस्त्यश्वान्प्राहिणोद्यमसादनम् ।
द्रोणोऽचिरेणाकरोच्च महीं शोणितकर्दमाम् ॥२१॥
21. tānvai sarathahastyaśvānprāhiṇodyamasādanam ,
droṇo'cireṇākarocca mahīṁ śoṇitakardamām.

droṇaḥ acireṇa akarot ca mahīm śoṇitakardamām
21. droṇaḥ vai acireṇa tān sarathahasty-aśvān

21. Drona quickly dispatched those warriors, along with their chariots, elephants, and horses, to the abode of Yama (the god of death). And in no time, he made the earth muddy with blood.
