दिदृक्षुर्भरतश्रेष्ठं राजानं ससुहृद्गणम् ॥१॥

Sanjaya said: As they (the Pāṇḍavas) were conversing thus, Dhananjaya (Arjuna) appeared, desirous of seeing the king, the best of the Bharatas (Yudhishthira), along with his retinue of friends.
