महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-149, verse-7

जटासुरो मम पिता रक्षसामग्रणीः पुरा ।
प्रयुज्य कर्म रक्षोघ्नं क्षुद्रैः पार्थैर्निपातितः ।
तस्यापचितिमिच्छामि त्वद्दिष्टो गन्तुमीश्वर ॥७॥
7. jaṭāsuro mama pitā rakṣasāmagraṇīḥ purā ,
prayujya karma rakṣoghnaṁ kṣudraiḥ pārthairnipātitaḥ ,

7. My father, Jaṭāsura, formerly the foremost of the Rākṣasas (demons), was struck down by insignificant Pārthas (sons of Pṛthā/Kuntī), even though he performed actions that usually destroy demons. O lord, directed by you, I wish to obtain retribution for him.
