महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-14, verse-21

ते चैवोभे गदे श्रेष्ठे समासाद्य परस्परम् ।

21. And indeed, those two excellent maces, having met each other, hissed and emitted fire as if they were two Naga maidens.
