महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-71, verse-3

संनह्यतां पदातीनां हयानां चैव भारत ।
शङ्खदुन्दुभिनादश्च तुमुलः सर्वतोऽभवत् ॥३॥
3. saṁnahyatāṁ padātīnāṁ hayānāṁ caiva bhārata ,
śaṅkhadundubhinādaśca tumulaḥ sarvato'bhavat.

śaṅkhadundubhinādaḥ ca tumulaḥ sarvataḥ abhavat

3. O Bhārata, let the foot-soldiers and also the horses be armed! And a tumultuous clamor of conches and drums arose from all directions.
