महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-70, verse-17

एवमुक्ता महेष्वासास्ते वीराः क्षिप्रकारिणः ।
महता शरवर्षेण अभ्यवर्षन्नरिंदमम् ॥१७॥
17. evamuktā maheṣvāsāste vīrāḥ kṣiprakāriṇaḥ ,
mahatā śaravarṣeṇa abhyavarṣannariṁdamam.

mahatā śara-varṣeṇa abhyavarṣan arim-damam

mahatā śara-varṣeṇa arim-damam abhyavarṣan
17. Thus addressed, those swift-acting heroes, who were mighty archers, showered the subduer of enemies with a great volley of arrows.
