महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-70, verse-10

शरांस्तान्मृत्युसंस्पर्शान्सात्यकेस्तु पदानुगाः ।
न विषेहुस्तदा राजन्दुद्रुवुस्ते समन्ततः ।
विहाय समरे राजन्सात्यकिं युद्धदुर्मदम् ॥१०॥
10. śarāṁstānmṛtyusaṁsparśānsātyakestu padānugāḥ ,
na viṣehustadā rājandudruvuste samantataḥ ,
vihāya samare rājansātyakiṁ yuddhadurmadam.
10. śarān tān mṛtyusaṃsparśān sātyakeḥ
tu padānugāḥ na viṣehuḥ tadā rājan
dudruvuḥ te samantataḥ vihāya
samare rājan sātyakim yuddhadurmadam
10. rājan he rājan tadā sātyakeḥ padānugāḥ
mṛtyusaṃsparśān tān śarān na
viṣehuḥ te samantataḥ yuddhadurmadam
sātyakim samare vihāya dudruvuḥ
10. O King, Sātyaki’s followers could not endure those arrows, which had the touch of death; they fled in all directions, abandoning the battle-furious Sātyaki on the battlefield.
