महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-6, chapter-57, verse-19

ततः स मद्रकान्हत्वा दशभिर्दशभिः शरैः ।
हृष्ट एको जघानाश्वं भल्लेन कृतवर्मणः ॥१९॥
19. tataḥ sa madrakānhatvā daśabhirdaśabhiḥ śaraiḥ ,
hṛṣṭa eko jaghānāśvaṁ bhallena kṛtavarmaṇaḥ.

19. Then, having killed the Madras with tens of arrows, he, joyful and alone, killed Kṛtavarman's horse with a broad-headed arrow (bhalla).
