छित्त्वा तु शक्तिं गाङ्गेयः सात्यकिं नवभिः शरैः ।

35. But Bhīṣma, the son of Gaṅgā (Gāṅgeya), the destroyer of enemies (śatrukaraśana), having cut Sātyaki's missile (śakti), then angrily struck him in the chest with nine arrows, laughing.
