शल्य उवाच ।
एवं स्तुतो हव्यवाहो भगवान्कविरुत्तमः ।
बृहस्पतिमथोवाच प्रीतिमान्वाक्यमुत्तमम् ।
दर्शयिष्यामि ते शक्रं सत्यमेतद्ब्रवीमि ते ॥९॥

evaṁ stuto havyavāho bhagavānkaviruttamaḥ ,
bṛhaspatimathovāca prītimānvākyamuttamam ,
darśayiṣyāmi te śakraṁ satyametadbravīmi te.

Śalya said: Thus praised, the revered (bhagavān) Fire (havyavāha), the supreme seer, then, being pleased, spoke these excellent words to Bṛhaspati: 'I will show you Śakra (Indra); this truth I declare to you.'
