महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-16, verse-18

पाहि देवान्सलोकांश्च महेन्द्र बलमाप्नुहि ।
एवं संस्तूयमानश्च सोऽवर्धत शनैः शनैः ॥१८॥
18. pāhi devānsalokāṁśca mahendra balamāpnuhi ,
evaṁ saṁstūyamānaśca so'vardhata śanaiḥ śanaiḥ.
18. pāhi devān salokān ca mahendra balam āpnuhi evam
saṃstūyamānaḥ ca saḥ avardhata śanaiḥ śanaiḥ
18. O great Indra (Mahendra), protect the gods and their worlds! Attain strength! Thus, being greatly praised, he gradually grew in power.
