बृहस्पतिरुवाच ।
त्वमग्ने सर्वदेवानां मुखं त्वमसि हव्यवाट् ।
त्वमन्तः सर्वभूतानां गूढश्चरसि साक्षिवत् ॥१॥

1. bṛhaspatiruvāca ,
tvamagne sarvadevānāṁ mukhaṁ tvamasi havyavāṭ ,
tvamantaḥ sarvabhūtānāṁ gūḍhaścarasi sākṣivat.

Bṛhaspati said: "O Agni, you are the mouth of all the gods; you are the bearer of oblations. You move secretly within all beings, like a witness."
