महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-259, verse-6

तासां स भगवांस्तुष्टो महात्मा प्रददौ वरान् ।
लोकपालोपमान्पुत्रानेकैकस्या यथेप्सितान् ॥६॥
6. tāsāṁ sa bhagavāṁstuṣṭo mahātmā pradadau varān ,
lokapālopamānputrānekaikasyā yathepsitān.
6. tāsām saḥ bhagavān tuṣṭaḥ mahā-ātmā pradadau varān
| loka-pāla-upamān putrān eka-ekasyā yathā-īpsitān
6. That pleased, great-souled (mahā-ātman) and venerable (bhagavān) one then bestowed boons and sons, each resembling a guardian of the worlds (lokapāla), upon each of them according to their desires.
