महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-195, verse-38

इदं तु पुण्यमाख्यानं विष्णोः समनुकीर्तनम् ।
शृणुयाद्यः स धर्मात्मा पुत्रवांश्च भवेन्नरः ॥३८॥
38. idaṁ tu puṇyamākhyānaṁ viṣṇoḥ samanukīrtanam ,
śṛṇuyādyaḥ sa dharmātmā putravāṁśca bhavennaraḥ.
38. idam tu puṇyam ākhyānam viṣṇoḥ samanukīrtanam yaḥ
śṛṇuyāt saḥ dharmātmā putravān ca bhavet naraḥ
38. Indeed, this meritorious narration, which is a glorious praise of Viṣṇu, will cause any man who listens to it to become a righteous soul (dharmātmā) and be blessed with sons.
