महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-195, verse-30

प्रीतैश्च त्रिदशैः सर्वैर्महर्षिसहितैस्तदा ।
वरं वृणीष्वेत्युक्तः स प्राञ्जलिः प्रणतस्तदा ।
अतीव मुदितो राजन्निदं वचनमब्रवीत् ॥३०॥
30. prītaiśca tridaśaiḥ sarvairmaharṣisahitaistadā ,
varaṁ vṛṇīṣvetyuktaḥ sa prāñjaliḥ praṇatastadā ,
atīva mudito rājannidaṁ vacanamabravīt.
30. prītaiḥ ca tridaśaiḥ sarvaiḥ
maharṣisahitaḥ tadā varam vṛṇīṣva iti uktaḥ
saḥ prāñjaliḥ praṇataḥ tadā atīva
muditaḥ rājan idam vacanam abravīt
30. Then, all the gods (tridaśas), pleased and accompanied by the great sages (maharṣis), said to him, 'Choose a boon!' He, with folded hands, bowed down, and being exceedingly delighted, O King, he spoke these words:
