महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-16, chapter-9, verse-33

कालमूलमिदं सर्वं जगद्बीजं धनंजय ।
काल एव समादत्ते पुनरेव यदृच्छया ॥३३॥
33. kālamūlamidaṁ sarvaṁ jagadbījaṁ dhanaṁjaya ,
kāla eva samādatte punareva yadṛcchayā.
