महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-15, chapter-33, verse-30

धर्मराजस्तु तत्रैनं संचस्कारयिषुस्तदा ।
दग्धुकामोऽभवद्विद्वानथ वै वागभाषत ॥३०॥
30. dharmarājastu tatrainaṁ saṁcaskārayiṣustadā ,
dagdhukāmo'bhavadvidvānatha vai vāgabhāṣata.
30. dharmarājaḥ tu tatra enam saṃcaskārayiṣuḥ tadā
dagdhukāmaḥ abhavat vidvān atha vai vāk abhāṣata
30. But then the learned King of natural law (dharma), desiring to perform the funeral rites there for him, became intent on burning (the body); thereupon, a voice indeed spoke.
