महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-125, verse-7

रक्षस्तु वाचा संपूज्य प्रश्नं पप्रच्छ तं द्विजम् ।
मोक्ष्यसे ब्रूहि मे प्रश्नं केनास्मि हरिणः कृशः ॥७॥
7. rakṣastu vācā saṁpūjya praśnaṁ papraccha taṁ dvijam ,
mokṣyase brūhi me praśnaṁ kenāsmi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ.

7. The demon, however, honoring that brahmin (dvija) with words, asked him a question: "You will be released. Answer my question: by what means am I a lean deer?"
