महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-125, verse-22

नूनमर्थवतां मध्ये तव वाक्यमनुत्तमम् ।
न भाति कालेऽभिहितं तेनासि हरिणः कृशः ॥२२॥
22. nūnamarthavatāṁ madhye tava vākyamanuttamam ,
na bhāti kāle'bhihitaṁ tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ.
22. nūnam arthavatām madhye tava vākyam anuttamam
na bhāti kāle abhihitam tena asi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ
22. nūnam tava anuttamam vākyam arthavatām madhye
kāle abhihitam na bhāti tena asi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ
22. Surely, your unexceptional speech does not shine among people of substance, even when it is uttered at the right time. Therefore, you are emaciated like a deer.
