महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-13, chapter-125, verse-10

नूनं मित्राणि ते रक्षः साधूपचरितान्यपि ।
स्वदोषादपरज्यन्ते तेनासि हरिणः कृशः ॥१०॥
10. nūnaṁ mitrāṇi te rakṣaḥ sādhūpacaritānyapi ,
svadoṣādaparajyante tenāsi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ.

svadoṣāt aparajyante tena asi hariṇaḥ kṛśaḥ
10. rakṣaḥ nūnam te mitrāṇi sādhu upacaritāni api

10. O demon, surely your friends, even though properly attended to, become estranged due to their own faults. Therefore, you are emaciated like a deer.
