महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-94, verse-36

न जातु बलवान्भूत्वा दुर्बले विश्वसेत्क्वचित् ।
भारुण्डसदृशा ह्येते निपतन्ति प्रमाद्यतः ॥३६॥

36. A strong person should never, at any time, trust a weak one. For such (weak individuals) are like Bhāruṇḍa birds, who strike down the negligent.
