महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-94, verse-34

नाकाले प्रणयेदर्थान्नाप्रिये जातु संज्वरेत् ।
प्रिये नातिभृशं हृष्येद्युज्येतारोग्यकर्मणि ॥३४॥
34. nākāle praṇayedarthānnāpriye jātu saṁjvaret ,
priye nātibhṛśaṁ hṛṣyedyujyetārogyakarmaṇi.
34. na akāle praṇayet arthān na apriye jātu saṃjvaret
priye na atibhṛśam hṛṣyet yujyeta ārogyakarmaṇi
34. (kaścid) akāle arthān na praṇayet; apriye jātu na saṃjvaret; priye na atibhṛśam hṛṣyet; ārogyakarmaṇi yujyeta.
34. One should not initiate important matters at an inappropriate time, nor should one ever become agitated over something disagreeable. One should not rejoice excessively over something beloved. Rather, one should always engage in actions that promote health (karma).
