यः प्रियं कुरुते नित्यं गुणतो वसुधाधिपः ।
तस्य कर्माणि सिध्यन्ति न च संत्यज्यते श्रिया ॥१२॥

12. yaḥ priyaṁ kurute nityaṁ guṇato vasudhādhipaḥ ,
tasya karmāṇi sidhyanti na ca saṁtyajyate śriyā.

12. The ruler (vasudhādhipa) who consistently acts beneficially (priya) on account of his virtues, his actions (karma) succeed, and he is not abandoned by fortune (śrī).
