महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-286, verse-21

द्विजानामपि राजेन्द्र प्रज्ञावन्तः परा मताः ।
प्राज्ञानामात्मसंबुद्धाः संबुद्धानाममानिनः ॥२१॥
21. dvijānāmapi rājendra prajñāvantaḥ parā matāḥ ,
prājñānāmātmasaṁbuddhāḥ saṁbuddhānāmamāninaḥ.

prājñānām ātmasambuddhāḥ sambuddhānām amāninaḥ

21. O King of kings, even among the twice-born (dvijāḥ), the wise are considered supreme. Among the wise, those who have realized the Self (ātman) are supreme. And among those who have realized the Self, those who are free from pride are supreme.
