महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-278, verse-3

वर्धयामास तेजश्च किमर्थममितौजसाम् ।
नित्यं वैरनिबद्धाश्च दानवाः सुरसत्तमैः ॥३॥
3. vardhayāmāsa tejaśca kimarthamamitaujasām ,
nityaṁ vairanibaddhāśca dānavāḥ surasattamaiḥ.
