महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-262, verse-20

गृहेभ्य एव निष्क्रम्य वनमन्ये समाश्रिताः ।
गृहमेवाभिसंश्रित्य ततोऽन्ये ब्रह्मचारिणः ॥२०॥

20. gṛhebhya eva niṣkramya vanamanye samāśritāḥ ,
gṛhamevābhisaṁśritya tato'nye brahmacāriṇaḥ.

20. Some, indeed, having departed from their homes, resorted to the forest. Then others, having taken refuge solely in the home, were celibate students (brahmacārins).
