अत्र ते वर्तयिष्यामि प्रामाण्यमुभयोस्तयोः ।
शृणुष्वैकमनाः पार्थ छिन्नधर्मार्थसंशयम् ॥४॥

Here, I shall set forth for you the validity of both of those (paths). Listen with a concentrated mind, O son of Pritha, so that your doubts regarding your intrinsic nature (dharma) and aims (artha) may be dispelled.
