महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-103, verse-39

एवं सर्वास्ववस्थासु सान्त्वपूर्वं समाचरन् ।
प्रियो भवति भूतानां धर्मज्ञो वीतभीर्नृपः ॥३९॥
39. evaṁ sarvāsvavasthāsu sāntvapūrvaṁ samācaran ,
priyo bhavati bhūtānāṁ dharmajño vītabhīrnṛpaḥ.
