तेषां सान्त्वं क्रूरमिश्रं प्रणेतव्यं पुनः पुनः ।
संपीड्यमाना हि परे योगमायान्ति सर्वशः ॥२६॥

26. teṣāṁ sāntvaṁ krūramiśraṁ praṇetavyaṁ punaḥ punaḥ ,
saṁpīḍyamānā hi pare yogamāyānti sarvaśaḥ.

26. Conciliation, mixed with harshness, should be applied to them repeatedly. For indeed, when others are completely oppressed, they come to terms (yoga).
