महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-73, verse-9

शर्मिष्ठोवाच ।
आसीनं च शयानं च पिता ते पितरं मम ।
स्तौति वन्दति चाभीक्ष्णं नीचैः स्थित्वा विनीतवत् ॥९॥
9. śarmiṣṭhovāca ,
āsīnaṁ ca śayānaṁ ca pitā te pitaraṁ mama ,
stauti vandati cābhīkṣṇaṁ nīcaiḥ sthitvā vinītavat.
9. śarmiṣṭhā uvāca āsīnam ca śayānam ca pitā te pitaram mama
stauti vandati ca abhīkṣṇam nīcaiḥ sthitvā vinītavat
9. Sharmishtha said: "Your father, whether sitting or lying down, always praises and bows to my father, standing humbly and respectfully."
