महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-73, verse-28

दृष्ट्वा दुहितरं काव्यो देवयानीं ततो वने ।
बाहुभ्यां संपरिष्वज्य दुःखितो वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥२८॥
28. dṛṣṭvā duhitaraṁ kāvyo devayānīṁ tato vane ,
bāhubhyāṁ saṁpariṣvajya duḥkhito vākyamabravīt.
28. dṛṣṭvā duhitaram kāvyaḥ devayānīm tataḥ vane
bāhubhyām saṃpariṣvajya duḥkhitaḥ vākyam abravīt
28. Having then seen his daughter Devayani in the forest, Kavya, distressed, embraced her with both arms and spoke these words.
