महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-27, verse-16

तच्छ्रुत्वा देवराजस्य कश्यपोऽथ प्रजापतिः ।
वालखिल्यानुपागम्य कर्मसिद्धिमपृच्छत ॥१६॥
16. tacchrutvā devarājasya kaśyapo'tha prajāpatiḥ ,
vālakhilyānupāgamya karmasiddhimapṛcchata.

वालखिल्यान् उपागम्य कर्मसिद्धिम् अपृच्छत
16. Having heard that from the king of gods, Kaśyapa, the Prajāpati, then approached the Vālakhilyas and asked about the success of their ritual.
