महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-27, verse-10

तांश्च सर्वान्स्मयाविष्टो वीर्योन्मत्तः पुरंदरः ।
अवहस्यात्यगाच्छीघ्रं लङ्घयित्वावमन्य च ॥१०॥
10. tāṁśca sarvānsmayāviṣṭo vīryonmattaḥ puraṁdaraḥ ,
avahasyātyagācchīghraṁ laṅghayitvāvamanya ca.
10. tān ca sarvān smayāviṣṭaḥ vīryonmattaḥ purandaraḥ
avahasya atyagāt śīghram laṅghayitvā avamanya ca
10. And Indra, arrogant and intoxicated by his own power, quickly passed by all those (sages), having first laughed at them, disregarded them, and shown them disrespect.
