महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-143, verse-36

संवाससमयो जीर्ण इत्यभाषत तं ततः ।
हिडिम्बा समयं कृत्वा स्वां गतिं प्रत्यपद्यत ॥३६॥
36. saṁvāsasamayo jīrṇa ityabhāṣata taṁ tataḥ ,
hiḍimbā samayaṁ kṛtvā svāṁ gatiṁ pratyapadyata.
36. saṃvāsasamayaḥ jīrṇaḥ iti abhāṣata tam tataḥ
hiḍimbā samayam kṛtvā svām gatim prati apadyata
36. Then, she (Hiḍimbā) said to him (Bhīma), "The period of our cohabitation (samaya) is completed." Having thus fulfilled her agreement (samaya), Hiḍimbā departed on her own way.
