महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-111, verse-6

दृष्टवन्तो गिरेरस्य दुर्गान्देशान्बहून्वयम् ।
आक्रीडभूतान्देवानां गन्धर्वाप्सरसां तथा ॥६॥
6. dṛṣṭavanto girerasya durgāndeśānbahūnvayam ,
ākrīḍabhūtāndevānāṁ gandharvāpsarasāṁ tathā.
6. dṛṣṭavantaḥ gireḥ asya durgān deśān bahūn vayam
ākrīḍabhūtān devānām gandharvāpsarasām tathā
6. We have seen many inaccessible regions of this mountain, which are playgrounds for the gods, and for the Gandharvas and Apsaras as well.
