महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-111, verse-17

यथैवाहं पितुः क्षेत्रे सृष्टस्तेन महात्मना ।
तथैवास्मिन्मम क्षेत्रे कथं वै संभवेत्प्रजा ॥१७॥

17. yathaivāhaṁ pituḥ kṣetre sṛṣṭastena mahātmanā ,
tathaivāsminmama kṣetre kathaṁ vai saṁbhavetprajā.

17. yathā eva aham pituḥ kṣetre sṛṣṭaḥ tena mahātmanā |
tathā eva asmin mama kṣetre katham vai sambhavet prajā

17. Just as I was created in my father's body by that great soul (mahātman), how then can offspring (prajā) be born in this body of mine?

17. כשם שאני נוצרתי בשדהו של אבי על ידי אותו גדול נפש, כך כיצד ייוולדו צאצאים בשדה שלי?
