दत्तः क्रीतः कृत्रिमश्च उपगच्छेत्स्वयं च यः ।
सहोढो जातरेताश्च हीनयोनिधृतश्च यः ॥२९॥

29. dattaḥ krītaḥ kṛtrimaśca upagacchetsvayaṁ ca yaḥ ,

29. The other six, who are neither heirs nor have family ties, are: the given son, the bought son, and the artificial (adopted) son; also, he who comes of his own accord. And the son born while the mother was pregnant at marriage, the son whose biological father is known, and the one supported from a lower-caste womb.
