महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-111, verse-27

इमे वै बन्धुदायादाः षट्पुत्रा धर्मदर्शने ।
षडेवाबन्धुदायादाः पुत्रास्ताञ्शृणु मे पृथे ॥२७॥
27. ime vai bandhudāyādāḥ ṣaṭputrā dharmadarśane ,
ṣaḍevābandhudāyādāḥ putrāstāñśṛṇu me pṛthe.
27. ime vai bandhudāyādāḥ ṣaṭputrāḥ dharmadarśane
ṣaṭ eva abandhudāyādāḥ putrāḥ tān śṛṇu me pṛthe
27. O Pṛthā, according to the principles of natural law (dharma), these six sons are considered heirs with family ties. There are also six sons who are not heirs and lack family ties; hear about them from me.
