महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-107, verse-7

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
क्षुच्छ्रमाभिपरिग्लानं द्वैपायनमुपस्थितम् ।
तोषयामास गान्धारी व्यासस्तस्यै वरं ददौ ॥७॥
7. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
kṣucchramābhipariglānaṁ dvaipāyanamupasthitam ,
toṣayāmāsa gāndhārī vyāsastasyai varaṁ dadau.

upasthitam toṣayāmāsa gāndhārī vyāsaḥ tasyai varam dadau
7. Vaiśampāyana said: Gandhari satisfied Dvaipāyana, who had approached completely exhausted by hunger and fatigue. Vyasa gave her a boon.
