महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-107, verse-28

वाक्यस्यैतस्य निधने दिक्षु सर्वासु भारत ।
क्रव्यादाः प्राणदन्घोराः शिवाश्चाशिवशंसिनः ॥२८॥
28. vākyasyaitasya nidhane dikṣu sarvāsu bhārata ,
kravyādāḥ prāṇadanghorāḥ śivāścāśivaśaṁsinaḥ.
28. vākyasya etasya nidhane dikṣu sarvāsu bhārata
kravyādāḥ prāṇadan ghorāḥ śivāḥ ca aśivaśaṃsinaḥ
28. O Bhārata (Dhṛtarāṣṭra), at the conclusion of this statement, terrifying flesh-eating creatures roared in all directions, and jackals howled with inauspicious cries.
